User management
This feature is only available with Saal Prio Max.
You can grant another user access to specific areas of your account so that you can both work on the same photo shoots or projects. You can define the role of your invitation and decide whether to grant editing rights or view-only access to each section.
Invite user
To invite a user to your account, click on User management in the Sales panel. This menu displays all users invited to your account and their status. To add a new user, click on the Invite user button. A menu will appear to specify the user and their role for each item. In the Username field, enter the email address of the person you want to give access to your account. Under the User roles heading, you will find each item to define precisely the rights to be granted to the invited user. Note that you can change these settings at any time. You will be able to select:
- No access. Prevents the invited user from accessing the specified item; no viewing or editing capabilities.
- View only. Allows the invited user to view the specified item, but no actions can be performed.
- Can edit. Allows the invited user to edit the specified item with the same permissions as you.
The items for which you can manage permissions are:
- Galleries. Manage the permissions and access for all your galleries displayed in the Galleries menu.
- Projects. Manage the permissions and access for all your projects displayed in the Projects menu.
- Photo Jobs. Manage the rights and access for all Photo Jobs, including users, participants, galleries, and orders placed within them.
- Price lists and Productsets. Manage the rights and access to your price lists and product sets.
- Vouchers. Manage the rights and access to the Vouchers menu.
- Order management. Manage the rights and access for orders placed on your account that are displayed in the Order Management menu. Note that revenue information will not be displayed if this setting is enabled.
- E-Mail workflow. Manage the rights and access to all your email workflows.
- E-mail Templates. Manage the rights and access to all your email templates.
- Show revenues. Allows you to decide if your revenue will be displayed to the invited user for enabled items. Note that it is not possible to select Can edit on this field.
Once you have set the rights, click on the User roles button. An invitation containing a link to accept access to your account within the configuration you have set will be sent to the email address provided.
Invited user
The invited user will receive an email with a link to access your account within the roles configured. After clicking on the link, the invitation will open, allowing the user to accept or decline the invitation. Once accepted, the invited user can choose whether to sign in to their own account or the account they have been invited to. If the invitation account is selected, the invited user will have access to your account according to the configuration you set.
To switch accounts, the guest needs to click on the Switch account button in the top right corner. Each time the invited user logs out and logs back in, they will be asked to choose which account they want to open.
Modify and remove access
You can edit the permissions for any role or remove a user’s access to your account at any time. From the User management menu, click the wrench icon for the user. The selected user’s Role Permissions menu will open, allowing you to change them as needed. Remember to click the Save to save the changes.
